We are back from camping. I could have stayed another week, but Steve was bored to tears. He actually asked me "how many times can you go to the beach?" Well my thinking is, every day! Steve didn't even stay the whole time, just the weekends.
As for the menu, don't worry. Steve is the cook in this family.
On the nights he was there, he'd cook a big meal. Steak, baked potatos, garlic bread etc. My nights? We ate hot dogs, chicken or beans, lol. Hey, that is what Kevin said he wanted, and the little kids sure didn't care. As long as they got their marshmallows to roast.
Speaking of marshmallows, I have a couple funny Divy stories. The first night we are roasting marshmallows, Kevin right off catches his on fire. He yells CRAP, and pulls it out of the fire. From then on, Divy would tell us he wanted his crap too. "Mommy, make mine crap!" "No, not like that, I want mine crap!" No matter what we did, he wouldn't say he wanted his burnt.
The second funny Divy story. Kevin and Heather are going to fly back to Edmonton and take Divy with them. The reason for this is because we thought we wouldn't have enough seats in the van to fit everyone. That has changed, which is a whole other blog. So, seeing as how neither Kevin or Heather have dealt with poopy diapers, Heather decided that she'd change Div's Pullup the next time he was poopy. To practice up for when they have him for two days while we drive to Edmonton. So, he's done a nice mess, and Heather comes into the motorhome with me to watch and learn before actually tackling one herself. I tear open the Pullup and Heather cries "JESUS!!" before covering her face and starting to gag, ROFL!!!!!! I had a good laugh at that, end of story. Steve comes back up two days later. The next time Divy craps, I figure it is daddy's turn to change him. Off they go. Steve comes back out of the motorhome, and he tells me that when he opened up the Pullup, Divy asked him if he saw Jesus. I damn near died laughing! Now, whenever he poops, instead of saying, "I pooped." as was the usual, he asks if we want to see Jesus. Like with the marshmallows, we can't get him to stop saying it. People are going to think we are very very strange.
