  • Make sure you play around with the different lights and dance moves.

  • I am still here, we didn't get shaken into the ocean. Heather, I hardly think we can blame you! Did you feel it on the mainland? It was a 4.1, centered 16 km east of  here. I think the only reason Steve felt it is because he was home, not at work like he usually seems to be when we get these. Scott said it shook all his lego creations in his room.

We have been having such beautiful weather, it doesn't seem like fall yet. Yesterday when I was watering the garden and my planters, I realized that all my flowers look the best they have all season. Probably because the days aren't as hot now. I was intending to clean them all out, and plant some more bulbs. I just can't bring myself to yank them just yet, when they look so pretty. Now watch, I'll wait and we'll start getting the rains.

    Extended Forecast at weather.com

I just checked the forecast, doesn't look like rain is coming anytime soon.

  • We just felt a small earthquake. For the first time, EVER, Steve felt it! Now this man has lived here for 22 years, and he never feels them. I just hope it wasn't a big one somewhere. I guess I should turn on the news.

  • This has to be a record for me, making so many entries in one day. I copied Cat, and created a friend test, all about me. I know, I know, I've done this before. Humour me. Or for you sticklers, (Yvonne) humor me.  Take my test.

  • I wanted to say thanks TLB for the help, I'll try that later today!

Now, WTF is up with that white behind the words on my last entry??

  • This is pretty neat. I am sure many of you have seen this already, but I just had it resent to me, and it is worth a look.

Apparently the owners of this house had been seeing images and hearing voices for quite a while. They did some research and found that a lady once lived in the house who lost her husband
during the civil war. Legend says that she used to sit at the table and look across the fields in anticipation of her loved one returning home. He never came.  So, they say she still waits. They caught this photo of what they claim to be her.

This one is wild and a little spooky once you find the ghost in the picture. It took me a few minutes to find it, but when you do, it just stands out. Like one of those optical illusions. To save you

some time, concentrate around the table. Best not to focus too much on one spot. Look  around the table and toward the window. Click on the link below for the picture. Best to enlarge. For an added touch turn up the volume, it's faint but you can hear the ghost talking sometimes in a low murmur.  Check it out here.

  • I realize there is a pretty damn slim chance of getting an answer to this question, but I'll ask anyway. Is there anyone reading this who lives in B.C., or knows B.C. law, and can tell me how to go about seeing a copy of a will? The will in question is from someone who died in B.C in 1994.

  • I came across the coolest site today. They carry all kinds of products, so if there is something from the past you long for and can't find anymore, check out HomeTown Favorites. In case anyone wonders, no I don't have anything to do with the company. Just thought it was a great idea. Even if they do spell favourites wrong.

  • I have found myself in a bit of a brighter mood this morning, because I have lost seven pounds in the past two weeks!! This SlimFast is the way to go for me. I am a lazy ass, and don't like having to think about what I have to eat much. I have either a shake or bar for two meals, then eat smart for the 3rd meal. For snacks I've been eating fruit and raw veggies. I am proud of myself. :)

Annie is causing us more grey hairs. Making what are to us stupid choices, basically pissing off good ole mom and dad. Steve is ready to toss her out, but I don't think that would be very wise of us. She is only 17. I remember how stupid I could be at that age. Hell, how stupid I was, more like it. Steve moved out at 15, and I know he was even more stupid as a teen than I was.  We have to keep reminding ourselves that this too shall pass. I did find myself wishing she was ready to head off to Basic Training, which is exactly what Kevin was doing at the same age, lol!

  • It has been a while since I have posted here. Nothing to say ATM. I've been kinda stressed out about things, so my usual mindless babble hasn't been spewing out of me.
