• I just got a call from the girl's father. He has been diagnosed with the Norwalk Virus. It has been making the rounds here and ruined, for many of the passengers,  two cruises to Alaska. It isn't a terribly serious illness, but it does involve vomiting, diarrhea and abdominal cramps. The girls spent Saturday and half of yesterday with their dad, until the visit was called of because of how sick he was. We had been thinking of going camping from Friday to Sunday. I think we'll pass on that now. I can't imagine being in the motorhome if it does hit us all! I'd rather be home, close to my washer and dryer.
