• We are home from our trip. We left here at 5 am on July 26th. We took Kevin, Heather and Div to the airport and then headed off to the ferry terminal. We were on the 7 am sailing. The kids flight left at 7:10. As we drove off the boat on the mainland, they were landing in Edmonton.  We took our time on the trip there, and spent the night in a hotel before arriving in Edmonton around noon on the 27th. We went to Heather's home, and met her parents. Divy was having a great time, charming her family. He had LOVED flying!!

  
  

  We spent two days at the West Edmonton Mall, the worlds largest. I spent both days shopping, the rest of the family spent one day at Galaxyland, the other at the Waterpark. My oldest friend from my days of living in Alberta was with me, and we had a few years worth of catching up to do. How better to do it then while shopping and dining out, lol!

  
  

  On the 30th, we headed five hours north to the city where most of Steve's family still lives. It is such a blast as he has four siblings, and that means many nieces and nephews, as well as six great nieces and nephews that have been born since our last visit. One brother and one sister live on farms, the little kids LOVE that part! It was a blur of visiting with everyone, but such fun.
