I found out that my xanga premium expired today. No notice, just went to make a new entry and the fancysmancy thingy mabobby dealy was gone! How rude. I went ahead and paid for a premium membership. A girl can't go back to plain after being spoiled with all the extra's, yk?
Things have been mixed here. Good news and sad news. The good news is that they will be leaving the baby here with us. At least that is what all parties involved are recommending, it has been sent to the top dog for official approval. Where is Diane, I guess we need to name him! The sad is that Greg will not be moving in the near future. I was wrong in thinking that the path was clear and ready for him. There are still a few hoops that need to be jumped through by the family wanting to adopt. As much as we would love to have him stay with us forever we know that he is in fact leaving. It is hard to explain, but once I know he will be leaving, I'd rather get going on that. It is harder to sit and wait. Hell, we've been doing that for three friggen years already.
It has been raining for the last three days. Typically everyone would be bitching and moaning about rain in August. Not this time. It is interesting, all you hear are "oh we need this so much!", "isn't it great to see some moisture?" and such. We are in a drought and have been under strict water restrictions since the end of March, beginning of April. I always like the rain, no matter what time of year. I suppose that comes from having been born in a rain forest eh?

Hopefully Greg's new forever family will get stuff straightened out quickly. I KWYM about once you KNOW it's gonna happen, don't drag it out just do it!
Happy and Sad the joys of parenthood and fosterparenthood
I agree we have needed the rain but after a couple of days with it pouring rain and between 4 and 6 kids in the house everyday ALL DAY Im ready for some sunshine...and the looney bin...l0l
I understand exactly what you mean about once something starts it needs to finish! This hurry up and wait is sooo annoying! Seems like parenthood is a series of ups and downs, and we always seem to roll with them, no matter what!
Totally understand about the rain, send some this way please?
A "Name Tig's Baby" contest! Whoo hoo!!!
