Can someone explain to me how you go about putting up a pretty background here? Just to make it clear, I am completely ignorant about computer stuff, so be gentle, lol. TIA.
You need to up load a background that you can either scan your self, make on a paint program or find on a online graphics site, save them as a gif or jpeg and then add them to your html coding of your site.
I think it goes something like this.....
or close to that, I have to look at the coding on my page and see, I'll have to do that later as I need to actually be going now. Talk to you later Tigg!!

I am a technoweenie, but the coding is "body background=http://www.xanga.com/(this is where you write the address you have saved the background to)" with the exterior " being replaced with those funny HTML brackets. Clear as mud? Nora can help, really! She helped me figure it out. (hugs)
I sent an ICQ that has better (I hope) directions.
Count me among the completely clueless.....thus the basic black background on my blog!
I can change the colors but that's about the extent of it.
sorry can't help you there,i am even more clueless I need sooooooo much help.
I tried, and I failed. Surprised, or not? Thanks for trying, I shall be happy I can at the very least manage to change the dang colours!
