We are home. Just barely. Only long enough for me to get Greg off to bed. And it is 12:40 a.m. We got back to the ferry terminal at 6:40, and we had been hopeful of getting on the 7p.m. ferry. That is, until we actually arrived there. It was insane. We were told we had a two sailing wait, and would be on the 9 o'clock boat. That is all very nice, except they were running behind. The 7 o'clock sailing left at 7:45, the 8 at 9, and our 9 o'clock sailing actually departed at 10:10. Which didn't put us back on the island until 11:45 p.m. So we sat around with thousands of others, in the 34 celcius heat. We were ever so grateful when the sun finally went down. The highlight of the trip? Greg. He was just awesome. Considering how long of a day it was, with alot of different than usual situations, I was anticipating that he would be a handful. He only came close to a meltdown on two occasions. Even though he was hours past his bedtime, he was an angel on the boat home. It was a pleasure to spend the day with him, I enjoyed every minute of his company.
Heather, we wouldn't have hadtime to see you, but I did think of you when we drove through Richmond! Thank you to everyone for your good thoughts, they obviously worked like a charm.
